Fair Oaks Dental Assistant School Student Grievance Policy

Student grievances should initially be directed to the class instructor. The instructor will take action to either address the concern or escalate to the administrator of the institution if needed. If the matter is not resolved by approaching the instructor, a student grievance should then be directed to the school’s administrator in writing within seven calendar days of the incident. This can be accomplished by sending an email to the attention of “administrator of the institution” to: [insert school info@email address]. A response to grievances will be issued by the administrator of the institution in writing no more than seven business days after receipt of the written grievance. Open communication between the student and the school is encouraged in order to resolve the student’s concerns. A student or any member of the public may file a complaint about this institution with the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education by calling (888) 370-7589 or by completing a complaint form, which can be obtained on the bureau's internet website www.bppe.ca.gov.
